Pelikin is an Aussie travel fintech startup built to help young travellers do epic things. They achieve this through a global currency app and a prepaid Visa card that travellers can use anywhere around the world.

Their aim is to reshape the way we spend, travel and share money by creating Australia’s first social sharing ‘banking alternative’, where users can spend like a local in multiple currencies abroad and immediately share money amongst friends and fellow travellers.

— The Situation

Inspired from a travel cash mishap in Croatia, Pelikin founder, Sam Brown, with his team of travel obsessed tech heads are on a mission to help millions of people save their hard earned cash whilst travelling around the globe.

Sam and team were excited to take their idea to market, increasing the profile of the brand within the corporate and consumer spaces on a national level and to facilitate interest and enquiry into the brand’s Birchal crowdfunding campaign.
